A Transit Benefit for Lake County employers by Laketran
Employer Commitment Agreement

Laketran's Transit GO program aims to increase transportation options for residents in Northeast Ohio in order to improve access to jobs, ultimately promoting employee retention and workforce development.

In doing so, Laketran's Transit GO program provides fare free transportation on Local Routes 1-9 to the employees of participating Lake County businesses. Bus passes are directly distributed to employees through EZfare, Laketran's mobile ticketing app. If the employee does not have a smartphone, paper passes are provided. Bus passes may not be exchanged for any monetary value and are non-transferable.

As a condition of participating in the Transit GO program, the Employer agrees to provide employment verification to confirm participants are eligible for the program. Employers agree to inform Laketran if an employee no longer qualifies for the Transit GO program due to termination.
